In this gripping and inspiring memoir, a C-130 pilot recounts his experiences flying combat airlift missions in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War.

The author, who flew under the call sign "Skyraider," provides a vivid and personal account of the war from the perspective of a young man who was thrust into the middle of one of the most controversial conflicts in American history.

The book is full of harrowing tales of combat, including the author's experiences flying into hostile territory, being shot at by enemy fire, and rescuing downed pilots.

But Skyraider is also a story of hope and resilience. The author writes about the camaraderie he shared with his fellow pilots, the strength he found in his faith, and the determination that kept him going even in the darkest of times.

Skyraider is a must-read for anyone interested in the Vietnam War or in military history. It is a powerful and personal story that will stay with you long after you finish reading it.
