About the Author

David Thibodeau was born in Minnesota in 1960. He joined the Branch Davidians in 1981 and lived at the Mount Carmel compound in Waco, Texas, for 12 years. He was one of the last survivors to escape the compound during the FBI's siege in 1993. Thibodeau now lives in Texas with his wife and children.
